The Asbury Park Transportation Center is only a few hundred feet from the Wave Gathering Music Festival on Cookman Ave. and many of the participating venues. For your convenience, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking the NJ TRANSIT trains or buses!

RAIL SERVICE to the Downtown Asbury Park Wave Gathering:
Take the North Jersey Coast Line Train to the Asbury Park Transportation Center. The festival is right across the street on Cookman Avenue and throughout the downtown neighborhood.

BUS SERVICE to the Downtown Asbury Park Wave Gathering:
Bus routes #317, #830, #832, #836 and #837 serve the Asbury Park Transportation Center.

DRIVING FROM NORTH: Garden State Parkway, take Exit 102 towards Asbury Park/Neptune Township, follow Asbury Avenue approximately 4.5 miles to Main Street/Route 71. Go right on Main to Cookman Avenue.

DRIVING FROM SOUTH: Garden State Parkway, take Exit 100A towards Asbury Park, continue on Route 66 East approximately 3 miles to the Asbury Park Circle, follow signs for Asbury Park then turn right onto Asbury Avenue, follow Asbury Avenue approximately 1.5 miles to Main Street/Route 71. Go right on Main to Cookman Avenue.

PARKING will be available in the Parking Garage on Bangs Avenue (off Main Street), in parking lots at the beach front and metered and non-metered parking on most City streets.
